[NL] Bedrijvenrelaties is de tak binnen KOCO die de brug legt tussen de letterenstudent en de arbeidsmarkt. In samenwerking met studentenvoorzieningen van de KU Leuven en de studieloopbaanbegeleiders van de faculteit Letteren worden carrièregerichte evenementen voor letterenstudenten uitgewerkt en onder de aandacht gebracht. Er wordt gewerkt aan tal van workshops, infosessies, speeddates met partners, panelgesprekken met alumni en natuurlijk ook de jobbeurs in maart. Op deze manier proberen we de letterenstudent bewust te maken van het veelzijdige en aantrekkelijke profiel waarover zij beschikken, en zetten we al hun kwaliteiten in de verf bij de verschillende partners.
De jobbeurs zal dit academiejaar doorgaan op 14 maart 2023. Meer info volgt dadelijk!

[EN] Corporate Relations is the branch within KOCO that bridges the gap between the arts student and the job market. In cooperation with KU Leuven’s student services and the study career supervisors of the Faculty of Arts, career-oriented events for arts students are developed and highlighted. Numerous workshops, information sessions, speed dates with partners, panel discussions with alumni and, of course, the job fair in March are in the works. In this way we try to make the students of arts aware of the versatile and attractive profile they have, and highlight all their qualities to the various partners.
This academic year, the job fair will take place on March 14, 2023. More information to follow soon!

Activiteiten & voorzieningen op de jobfair
Speeddates
Tijdens de speeddates leer je een uur lang in kleine groepjes enkele interessante bedrijven uit een variatie van sectoren beter kennen. Telkens 10 minuten lang krijg je een inzicht in hun visie, bedrijfscultuur, het reilen en zeilen in hun sector, waarbij je vervolgens de kans krijgt om gericht vragen te stellen… misschien maak je wel de klik en vorm jij wel het perfecte profiel voor hen!
Panelgesprekken
Nog niet zeker naar welke sector je wilt gaan? Ben je op zoek naar persoonlijke ervaringen van alumni? De panelgesprekken vormen de uitgelezen kans om een breed scala aan werkomgevingen te leren kennen. Het is het perfecte moment om te peilen naar de persoonlijke ervaringen, do’s en don’ts van je peers, en je leert er heel wat handige tips, tricks en valkuilen bij!
Heb je tijdens de speeddates een interessant gesprek gehad dat je graag wilt verderzetten? Heb je nog specifiekere vragen die je één op één wilt stellen? Of ben je gewoon nog nieuwsgierig? De hele namiddag lang kan je open netwerken met alle aanwezige bedrijven. Neem er zeker een hapje en een drankje bij aan onze toog en ons frietkraam!

Prijkt bovenaan je LinkedIn profiel nog steeds een verouderde vakantiefoto? Kom op de jobbeurs een professionele foto nemen voor op je cv en al je online profielen in onze fotobooth! Tip: neem een nette blouse mee of een strak hemdje, deze worden er achteraf jammer genoeg niet bij gephotoshopt 😉

De speeddaterondes en panelgesprekken zijn op elkaar afgestemd: je moet je dus zeker geen zorgen maken indien je je voor het ene inschrijft dat je niet meer kan deelnemen aan het andere 🙂 elke speeddateronde sluit naadloos aan bij een sessie panelgesprekken.
